Cocoa beach is good for surfing and body-boarding. There surf lessons daily for those who want to learn to surf.

For those that like to people watch, Cocoa Beach is a haven as you get a mix of locals and tourists of all types.

For those who want to take a break from the beach, there are restaurants, bars, and shopping close at hand.

Throughout the year, there are events at Cocoa Beach such as volleyball tournaments, live music, surfing competitions, and boat races so you never know what you’re going to find when you show up.

Parking can fill up and crowds can be high at the pier so be sure to plan your visit to Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier accordingly. There are hotels and resorts within walking distance of the pier so you can “live at the beach.”

The beach is open 24 hrs per day, but the pier does close at night.
