Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure is a themed roller coaster that rivals Orlando’s finest. It is set on the grounds of Hogwarts.
After waiting in a highly themed queue that keeps you moving, you will board a coaster made up of motorbikes with side cars. Be sure to try out the sample seats ahead of time. Some visitors report that the seats can be difficult for people with waists over 40″. The motorbike is more comfortable so be sure to request that seat.
The roller coaster uses several launch sequences and features hard banks to the right and left with twists and turns along way. It slows down at points allow for good theming.
At one point you shoot into the air and fall back to earth backwards so there is plenty of thrill for the family. This is not over the top and is something that can be enjoyed by tweens to adults.
The theming is really where this roller coaster shines as you get to see Hagrid and many of his favorite magical creatures along the way as well passing through the Hogwarts grounds which is a treat.

Queue Description: The queue for Hagrid’s ride moves along pretty well. You get to move through an themed experience around the Hogwart’s castle grounds. You will pass Hagrid’s hut and get a firsthand look at the coaster in action.
Queue Length: After opening, the wait-time often stays between 60-120 minutes throughout the day. You This is a good ride to go first thing when the park opens. When large crowds are expected, virtual queues are used and which saves waiting in lines.
Ride Height Requirements: 48in (122cm) or taller
Scary Factor: Medium-High This is a long roller coaster with a lot of banking left and right. There is also a section where you go in reverse. This roller coaster uses launch sections instead of hills so its a bit harder to anticipate when you’ll speed up.
