Mad Tea Party is fun spinning ride based on Alice in Wonderland’s “Unbirthday scene” where you ride around in teacups.

Any ages can ride the Magic Teacups and its hard to not make at least one stop there on every visit to Magic Kingdom. Our kids always leave happy.

Mad Tea Party is a Disney classic and versions of it exist in almost every Disney theme park location. The Magic Kingdom location is covered and has a teapot in the middle.

The teacups have been in Magic Kingdom since the park opened in 1971. Though the feature has been renovated including being put under roof, updated colors and music.

Once you start, you will rotate around the main teapot in the middle and your teacup will spin. There is a wheel in the middle that you can use to make yourself spin or less throughout the ride.

If you hold the wheel in the middle steady that spinning will be minimal. If you crank on this wheel you are almost guaranteed to become nauseated. Those who get motion sickness or cannot handle spinning rides should proceed with caution.

Do not ride this ride with rowdy teenagers!
