Slinky Dog Dash is a fun launched roller-coaster for all ages themed after themed after the Toy Story franchise.
You enter a winding queue filled with oversized toys where you feel like part of the action. They do a good job moving the queue and you are always excited to see what’s next. One of the decorations is a drawn out plan for a roller coaster just like Slinky Dog Dash which makes it seem like this is attraction is right of Andy’s head.
Once on the ride you will ride in the body of the slinky dog. This is a launched coaster so there is no hill of anticipation at the beginning. You just take off.
As you go along there are a lot of ups and downs that lift your stomach up and a handful of strong banks around corners. The roller coaster is a very smooth ride.
About halfway through, they pause and back up which brings back memories of children’s pull back toys. From there, you will be pinned back and take off in a series of rapid up and downs.
Its a fun ride from the initial launch until the penguin sings karoake to you as you pull into the station.

Queue Description: The line for this is pretty straight forward cuts back and forth between giant oversized toys. The line is mostly outdoors under cover with fans to help keep cool.
Queue Length: Slinky Dog Dash has been around for a few years, and it still draws big crowds. Usually at rope drop, visitors either make their way here, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, or Minnie and Mickey’s Runaway Railway. After rope drop, the wait is usually between 60-90 minutes for Slinky Dog Dash.
Ride Height Requirements: 38in (97 cm) or taller
Scary Factor: Medium – This is a fairly intense ride for younger riders, but won’t be a big deal for anyone who likes roller coasters.
