The Magic Carpets of Aladdin is a simple carnival style ride where you soar in a circle.
The queue for this varies from vary short to 25 minutes. This queue has some sunscreens, and there is no complete shade and can be very hot on sunny day. If you have Genie+, this is almost always available for a late day line skip if you’re in the area.
Similiar to Dumbo or Triceratops Spin at Animal Kingdom, the magic carpets are mounted on arms that spin around an axis and you have some control over of the up and down motion if you sit in the front of the two seat ride vehicle.
The ride itself is attractive and colorful and on our last visit our crew which included a preschooler and kindergartner begged to ride it. We avoided the hot sun by finding a time when the line was extremely short.
This ride is really great for toddler age kids who don’t meet the height requirements for roller coasters and more advanced experieneces.
