Planning a trip to Disney World? Here’s all the best Magic Kingdom Gluten Free Dining and Snacks!
Disney World is the absolute best when it comes to taking care of food allergies. You’ll be so pleased with the awesome gluten-free options across Walt Disney World Resort.
My husband and I are both on a gluten-free diet due to Celiac Disease. So, we aren’t just random reporters sharing the Magic Kingdom Park gluten free offerings….we eat them every time we visit!
I’ve divided this article into the best table service restaurants, quick service restaurants, and the top gluten free snacks. I hope you find some amazing dining options!
Best Gluten Free Magic Kingdom Table Service Restaurants
Table service restaurants are the ones that offer sit-down dining with reservations.
You’ll find that your gluten-free food options will be more varied and delicious when you choose to make a table service reservation. Be sure to mention your dietary restrictions to the cast member taking your order.
Often times a Disney chef can offer more options than what the menu suggests. Remember to ask politely to see if you can be accommodated.
Here’s some of our favorite places!
1) Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen
Skipper Canteen consistently wows those of us with a gluten allergy.
There’s a nice size gluten-free menu. My personal favorite is the Tastes Like Chicken Because it Is! You can also order a secret menu item – the Brazilian Cheese bread, which gets rave reviews!
Plus, this restaurant is a fun dining experience as the cast members often use puns much like the Jungle Cruise ride. What fun!
2) Liberty Tree Tavern
Get ready for a Thanksgiving day feast at the Liberty Tree Tavern.
This amazing sit-down restaurant offers a feast of roasted turkey and pork, pot roast, salad, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, plus dessert!
This dining location is one that you’ll want to visit again and again!
3) Cinderella’s Royal Table
If you’ve always wanted to dine in Cinderella’s Castle…you can!
This amazing experience includes a meet and greet with Cinderella, a delicious meal, dessert, and a special meet and greet with more princesses!
I highly recommend eating here at least once as it’s a truly magical experience.
And check out the amazing “cheese cake!” Sure to make your family smile!
Be sure you grab advance dining reservations as soon as possible, as this one books up quickly!
4) Be Our Guest
Dreaming of dining with the Beast? Be Our Guest restaurant is another fun dining option.
This awesome restaurant transports you into a story book and the special effects truly had our children believing it was snowing outside on a hot summer day.
There’s great food options on the allergy-friendly menus including filet mignon, chicken, pork, and more. They go all out to treat you like a princess/prince.
In our personal experience, we suspected that the truffle (although marked gluten free) possibly contained barley, so proceed with caution there, but otherwise it was an amazing experience!
Best Gluten Free Magic Kingdom Quick Service
If you are looking for a quick bite at Magic Kingdom here are the best options for quick-service restaurants!
1) Columbia Harbour House
Ranking at the top of the quick-service restaurant options is Columbia Harbor House.
This restaurant has a New England vibe and is a great place to find the best gluten free chicken fingers and French fries.
We love sitting up in the loft area as it’s quieter. Such a nice place to enjoy a peaceful meal even when the park is busy.
2) Pinocchio Village Haus
Looking for gluten free pizza? Be sure to check out Pinocchio Village House.
Located right next to It’s a Small World, this whimsical restaurant serves up several gluten free pizza options including cheese, pepperoni, and a meat lovers.
In addition, you can also find gluten free chicken strips at Pinocchio Village Haus as well!
Looking for an allergy friendly dessert? You can also find gluten free treats like cookies and brownies here!
3) Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe
If you are hankering for a burger, Cosmic Ray’s is the place!
You can find burgers, fries, and more at this quick service restaurant located in Tomorrowland.
It’s not my favorite place as it tends to get really loud and chaotic at prime meal times, but if you can come during off hours, it’s a solid option with allergy menus.
Gluten Free Snacks at Magic Kingdom
The gluten free snacks at Magic Kingdom are unfortunately seriously lacking compared to the other parks. However, you can still find some celiac disease friendly options.
1) Dole Whip
Dole whip is consistently my favorite Disney snack!
At Magic Kingdom you can grab a Dole whip at Aloha Isle. This is next to the Enchanted Tiki Room and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin in Adventureland.
You can also grab a Dole Whip over at Sunshine Tree Terrace which is a little hut near Skipper Canteen restaurant and the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.
If you’ve never had a Dole Whip, it’s a pineapple flavored soft serve ice cream that is dairy free and gluten free. It’s such a delicious treat on a hot day!
Often you can find other flavors of Dole Whip offered seasonally as well. YUM!
2) Popcorn
Those buckets full of popcorn that you see everyone carrying are also gluten free!
Popcorn is not only a delicious snack option but also a very economical choice, especially if you buy the refillable popcorn bucket!
3) Classic Mickey Ice Cream Bar
The classic Mickey Bars are also gluten free! Mickey bars are vanilla ice cream with a hard chocolate coating.
I love that we can still enjoy this classic Disney treat. It’s so delicious!
4) Turkey Leg
You can find gluten free Turkey Legs at Liberty Square Market around lunch time.
These can double as a meal they are quite large and that protein will keep you going a long time!
5) Gluten Free Brownies and Cookies
You can find prepackaged Gluten Free Brownies and Cookies at Columbia Harbour House as well as Pinocchio Village Haus.
These are a great option when you want to find something quick to help a child not feel left out in the parks!
